Window Control Systems has been the leading specialist for high level window operators in New Zealand for over 15 years. We are able to provide a complete service from design and specification to installation and commissioning.

In recent years electrically operated systems have been developed to offer a cost effective alternative to the traditional manual operators.  To ensure the development of these systems, we import products from Germany and Italy. These products complement the company’s manufacture and assembly of manual operators at our Mt Eden premises.

The division established Italian leading brands Mingardi and Aprimatic in New Zealand, followed by D+H Mechatronic from Germany. Another leading Italian brand, Topp, has recently been added. With these brands Window Control Systems is able to provide the best possible solution for residential, educational, institutional and commercial requirements.

With the move towards environmentally efficient buildings Window Controls, together with D+H in Germany, is involved in a number of projects where fresh air is provided naturally without the need for airconditioning. Control of ventilation on different levels, zones and elevations with energy efficient electric drives by electronically monitoring temperature, wind, rain and time is becoming increasingly accepted by designers, specifiers, developers and building owners.

As well as solutions for natural ventilation Window Control Systems also supplies and installs smoke ventilation systems and lift shaft smoke controls.

The division is also an agent for Breezway Louvres of Australia, providing technical assistance to specifiers and products for window fabricators throughout the country.
